Although the staff were friendly and accommodating, the room unfortunately felt dated and lacked essential amenities like shower gel. The dining experience was decent, but some services were a bit disorganized, which detracted from our overall experience. The hotel's charm made up for some of the shortcomings.

missingWrote a review on 04 Septnatural scenerycozy outdoorpoor maintenance
The area surrounding the hotel offers beautiful natural scenery, making it a pleasant spot for walks. The outdoor areas have a cozy feel, perfect for relaxing after a long day.
The hotel suffered from a lack of maintenance. the room I stayed in had a musty, damp smell, with worn-out curtains hanging askew and visible cobwebs in the wardrobe. Limited amenities included non-functioning sockets, and the hairdryer provided was outdated and cumbersome to use. Breakfast could use improvement. while there was a good choice of items, I found the quality lacking, with average bacon and a disappointing absence of fresh fruit. The common areas felt neglected, with dusty surfaces and partly worn furnishings, giving an impression of disregard for upkeep. The hotel’s location felt isolated if you didn't have your own transport, leaving me dependent on taxis, which could increase in price based on the day of the week.
